Alex joined the Redline Telecom team in October 2013 after graduating with a degree in Business Marketing. Now in charge of the company’s sales, Alex’s main role includes generating sales leads and managing our customer accounts. Alex takes great pleasure in analysing bills for new customer’s and saving his clients both time and money with their business telecom’s.
Outside of work Alex is an avid football fan, he plays football for his local team Talgarth Town and also enjoys cooking when the time allows.
Bob’s career in telecom started with an apprenticeship with British Telecom and has taken him to Europe and Canada. Bob joined Redline in 2012 and looks after all of the system installations and maintenance. A keen sports fan, especially football Bob also enjoys walking his dog and camping holidays.
After completing a BTEC in ICT Nick studied Computer Science at degree level before deciding that his future lay in the practical application of technology rather than programming. Nick joined Redline as a Telecom engineer and has completed MiCall, MiContact and EVE accreditations for inbound and VOIP services and is also now a fully qualified installation and maintenance engineer for the Ericsson LG range of telephone systems. Away from work technology is also Nick’s hobby, he just can’t get enough!
George is a recent addition to the team, having begun his Business Administration Apprenticeship in June 2015. His time spent on reception at his previous employer, Riverside Training, has given him strong Customer Service and Administration skills, and he is quickly immersing himself into the Telecoms world. Outside of work he is a keen practitioner of Taekwondo, and has been learning Japanese since February 2015, and he carries that enthusiasm over to his work.
Cheryl joined the Redline Group in 2011 as our Internal Accountant, now operating the business management aspect of the Redline Group alongside her finance role.
Cheryl has worked in several senior roles within the private, public and charitable sectors throughout Herefordshire, and recently gained chartered status in Business Management.
Cheryl enjoys supporting customers with initial financial account queries, monthly account management and payment deadlines.Outside of the office, Cheryl is a keen swimmer and enjoys travel, cooking and reading.
After graduating with a degree in Building Surveying in 1996 Edward changed his career direction and entered the communications industry when he joined Talkland to help them open their new store in Hereford. The company was acquired by Vodafone twelve months later and Edward remained with them until June 1998 when he left to launch Redline with his brother Colin.
Away from the business Edward enjoys riding his motorbike and spending time with his five year old son who has started riding his own motorbike.
After graduating with a degree in Geography & Environmental Management in 1997 Colin went on to complete a course in Managed Business Startup and in June 1998 together with Edward launched Redline. Starting out in mobile the business has grown and developed and now also covers fixed line, vehicle technology and utilities. Colin looks after some of our key accounts and is responsible for the overall management of the business.
Away from the business Colin is an ex Motocross and Enduro racer and now enjoys the outdoors at a much slower pace with his family and springer spaniels.
